Tessa was born in Katherine, a remote town in the Northern Territory where her parents owned a motorcycle business. Living on a large property with her family she spent her childhood riding motorbikes along the river as well as swimming and horse riding at a competitive level.
Tessa completed her secondary education as a boarder at Wilderness School, a private girls’ school in Adelaide and then continued her tertiary education at the University of Adelaide where she graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health (Dental Hygiene/Therapy) in 2015. In January 2016 she made the big move to North Queensland where she began work as an Oral Health Therapist in the Mackay Oral Health Service, Queensland Health.
While working with Queensland Health she learned a love for working with children in all aspects of dentistry and with their families to improve and maintain their oral health.
At Plaza Dental Tessa works closely with the Dentist’s to provide high quality Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy services to all our patients. She thoroughly enjoys working closely with families to ensure life-long positive dental experiences and healthy smiles.
Away from work Tessa enjoys training for her cycling races and planning her next overseas holiday or interstate trip to visit her friends and family
