Dr Martin Cahill

Martin spent the first few years of his life in Papua New Guinea before his family moved to Brisbane. He completed all his education in Brisbane graduating from Dentistry at the University of Queensland in 1998.

He married Danielle in 2002 and in 2007 they moved to Danielle’s home town of Mackay to raise their family in Mackay’s more relaxed environment. Together they have 3 children.

As a Dentist Martin’s primary interest is in helping people maintain healthy and attractive teeth throughout their lives. To this end he has recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Prosthodontics (the repair, rehabilitation and maintenance of patients with missing or damaged teeth) at King’s College in London. He is also an accredited Invisalign provider. This allows him to provide patients with a complete range of options to improve both the appearance and function of their teeth.

Examples of Martin’s work can be seen here.

He has been the Secretary of the local Dental Association for the last 6 years. Outside of work Martin enjoys swimming and bike riding, and has been doing triathlons for the last few years. He also coaches a junior soccer team at Wanderers. The remainder of his time is spent slowly doing up his home, a 1930’s Queenslander.
